A special event
for boys and girls at Christmas
On December 21, 2019, the Women of the New Millennium Foundation -FUNDAMIL- celebrated Christmas with 100 children, bringing happiness to their hearts, with laughter, joy and details donated by you, our greatest support.
This year we celebrate with them playing, singing, dancing and uncovering the most special gifts that some received with immense joy and with a very strong hug. Thanks to all who supported us to bring these gifts to these children this Christmas.
A very special thanks to La Lupa news and the great team of UNAD Psychology trainees who supported us in the event.
Fundamil Workshop
You are important, just as you are!
On November 28th, 2019 Foundation Woman of the New Millenium (FUNDAMIL), to commemorate the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, held the workshop “You are important, just as you are!” created around the theme #Valueyourself, through which we sought to inspire women to truly recognize, value and accept themselves.
The workshop took place in Triangle Park in the neighborhood of Mandalay, with around 50 women participating. The women first identified the three stages of a violent situation (ON ALERT, REACTION & URGENT), and with the motto #Valueyourself, made a set of promises to themselves and to one another in the group.
Then, through aerobic exercises and Zumba, they spent an hour relishing life, using the music to reconnect with their bodies and tune in to their physical condition.
Upon finishing this activity, they had a productive sharing session with music in the background, then led a torchlight march through the park celebrating the theme #Valueyourself “You are very important, just as you are!”
